Just because there's a new fad
And everyone is doing it,
Doesn't mean it's right for you.
Don't start something you can't quit.
There will always be pressure
From your peers to do things
That you feel are wrong. Don't
Give in because of what others are doing.
You may be called names
And told you're not a true friend--
Keep your head held high,
Do what's best for YOU, not THEM.
Some things start as
A simple dare,
Before you know it--
It escalates from there.
Don't join a group because
They seem really cool.
They may commit crimes
And be downright cruel.
They may hurt others--
Even cause their death.
There is no coolness in hurting
Someone until they draw their last breath.
You have nothing to prove
To anyone but God.
You can't help make a difference
If you're under 6 feet of sod.
