Brightly colored birds singing
Sweetly in the trees,
A slight humming sound
As flowers are pollinated by bees.
A babbling brook as it
Flows through a forest,
The animals sheltering there--
Join the birds in chorus.
Depending on the season--
In Spring, a soft gentle breeze,
In Summer, hot winds blow, Autumn
With it's fiery beauty, has softly floating leaves.
Winter has gently quiet falling snow--
Or cold harsh winds that howl.
Thunderstorms with rain and hail,
The eerie hooting of an owl.
These are some, but not all
Of the sounds of this planet we call home.
Even the sea has sounds of life--stop
And listen sometime as this earth you roam.
