Like intricate cobwebs
Memories thread through our minds.
Memories of both recent and
Long ago times.
Picnics just yesterday,
Compared to picnics long ago.
Family and friends we laughed with
And swam in the swimming hole.
Celebrations--milestones of life,
Wedding, family reunions and
The sad times too--someone's sick,
Someone dies, you all hold hands.
There's present day happiness too.
Amusement parks, movies, paint ball,
Seeing the animals at the zoo.
You can't get enough of it all.
Generations of friends and families,
Together for years and years--
Keep those cobweb memories going
Through laughter and through tears.
