What A Sad Waste

If all the politicians took
The money that they spend
On mud slinging ads and used
Them for good reasons, we could start to mend.

If some of the money
Government spends on useless
Research studies, we could
Improve life for our citizens in duress.

If they could use the time
They spend arguing, and
Actually get something done--
We could actually take a stand.

We could secure our borders,
And be united once again--
Recover our status in the world
To what it once had been.

Acknowledge the we ARE
A CHRISTIAN nation,
Let God back in ourschools--
Because He is our only salvation.
