Do You Believe In Love?

Do you believe in love?
Not the kind that's false,
But the kind that warms your heart
And speeds up your pulse.

Expensive gifts and dates
Aren't needed if the love is true.
Just simple things mean more
If your love gives them to you.

Some say they're waiting
For their knight in shining armor,
If you're meant to be together--
It won't matter if he's a farmer.

Handsome is nice--but not mandatory.
Belief in God, a sense of humor,
Shows respect and kindness to you
And others.  Doesn't lie or spread rumors.

The Lord has someone for everyone,
He picks who, the place and time.
I'd rather wait for the Lord
Then try dating on-line.
