Warm And Fuzzy

Everyone has something
To help them through difficult times.
All types of things
Come readily to mind.

As children we have a
Favorite toy, a doll or a stuffed bear.
Everyone also knows they
Can go to God in prayer.

Some people prefer
Warm and fuzzy things.
Being able to hug something to
Your heart is always comforting.

I prefer to talk to God,
And hug a warm and fuzzy too.
For my warm and fuzzy,
Nothing but my dog will do.

Some prefer to hug their cats
And listen to them purr.
It seems to have a calming effect,
Along with stroking their fur.

My dog can sense my mood--
And will stay close by my side.
She'll snuggle next to me in bed,
And try to soothe me when I cry.

With God to talk to
And know my heart's pain--
Along with my warm and fuzzy,
Things will be right again.
