Parents, Children And Grandchildren

Parents make time for your children,
Because all too soon they'll be gone.
Talk to them, play with them,
Spend time with them one on one.

Dad's go to your little girl's
Tea parties--no matter how goofy you feel.
Mom's play catch with your sons,
And ditch the high heels.

Always show them love
And encouragement,
Don't be cold and aloof.
They're gifts to you that God sent.

Grandparents make time
For your grand kids, because
Being with you is a treat.
Right up there with Santa Claus.

Give them good memories
Of togetherness, playing,
Making things and hugs
They'll spend their lives remembering.

Dress-up fashion shows,
Making each one feel special and loved.
They're part of life's treasures,
Sent from Heaven above.

Children and grandchildren,
Make time for your parents and grandparents--
Love them while they are here.  Talk and listen
To their memories, they are presents from long ago years.

Don't laugh or make fun of the aged--
They're someone's family too.
Make sure to treat your own and others
With respect--it's their due.

All of you be there to support
One another at all times,
Happy or sad--you may not have money--
But with love and family you have a goldmine.
