Keep Your Perspective

Everyone's life has problems,
Some can mean life or death.
Others are not as serious,
But they complain with every breath.

Some don't know how they will
Pay rent, bills, buy food or clothes.
But still manage to live day to day
And no sign of their troubles shows.

Some have to have the latest fad,
Be it clothes, jewelry, or phones.
While some just wish they
Had a place to call home.

Some are harassed or bullied
By people at school or work,
Until they can't take anymore--
And end their life on earth.

A bad cold or the flu can
Make you say you feel like death.
Those who are terminal and their families make
The most of every moment before their last breath.

Keep things in perspective,
No matter what you do--
Because rest assured,
There is someone worse off than you.
