Get Away

Everyone has days
When they just want to hide.
When stress, pain, or anger
Boil up inside.

Some do yoga classes,
Others love meditation.
Some, if they can afford it--
Take a nice long vacation.

For those who can't
Do any of these things,
There's another way to
Relax:  Books and reading.

You can forget your problems,
Exercise your mind--
Books are portable and go everywhere,
You can travel and not spend a dime.
