Cabin In The Mountains

A cabin in the mountains,
Heated with warm firelight.
The stars in God's heaven
The only outdoor light.

No matter the season,
It's beautiful there.
Beautiful forests--
Just stay away from the bears.

Go hiking or fishing,
Or relax by the lake.
The scenery is beautiful,
Whatever choice you make.

In autumn the trees
Turn to gold, red, and orange glory.
Peace overcomes you, and you
Gradually let go of your worries.

In the winter, the cold comes--
Along with the snow.
White lace elegance and
Snowmobiles to go to and fro.

You have enough supplies,
And plenty of wood for the fire.
Snuggle with your loved one,
And spend quiet time with your heart's desire.

No meetings to go to,
No time clocks to punch.
Just relax and thank God
For blessing you so much.
