What are some of the things
That make you feel sad?
Memories of a lost loved one,
Brother, sister, mother, dad.

Or having an arguement
With your closest friend.
Financial or health problems
That seem to never end.

Or not getting the job
You worked so hard to get.
That can make you sad--
Some even get angry I bet.

Are special to you--
Like "Abraham, Martin and John" ,
Of leaders killed too soon.

A song perhaps was your
Favorite with your very first love.
It became "your song", brings
Sad, semi-happy thoughts you never tire of.

Feeling you have no hope--
Because you don't know God.
Having faith in Him helps
As life's pathway you trod.

Everyone gets sad for
One reason or another,
Get help from someone and
The sun breaks through the clouds that hover.
