How many of us have been
Able to follow and realize our dreams?
Have we taken the high road,
Or used trickery and schemes?
Do we have two personas--
One for the public that says we're good
Another one in private--
That is a secret, that's understood.
Politicians and lawyers are all
Pretty much thought of that way.
Hopefully someone will be
Able to change that image some day.
It's sad to see someone's
Life dream unfulfilled.
To realize your dream--perservere
Stay kind, but be strong willed.
Mentor others with similar dreams,
Never forget those who assisted.
Be proud of the fact that
Working in the gutter you resisted.
