Everyone Is Fragile

Blown glass artwork is fragile and beautiful,
So is fine china and crystal.
Just like human hearts and emotions--
The can be shattered as if shot by a pistol.

Humans hearts are easily broken,
Sometimes scarred for life.
Fragile emotions can cause
Breakdowns and strife.

There is a phrase that says:
"Life is fragile, handle with prayer."
You can also say that
People are fragile, handle with care.

No matter what country,
Whatever religion--
Don't make fun of their culture,
That's how hatred and anger are arisen.

Their faith and culture
Are precious to them.
And their emotions are fragile--
But they will defend them to the end.

It's not only foreigners-
The abused and homeless are fragile too,
They either have no home, or can't go back
Because of what will happen if they do.

Treat others kindly--they are
Fighting battles you know nothing about,
We're all fragile,
And riddled with doubt.
