Stars

Stars are important
To our lives everyday.
One shown when Christ was born,
And showed the Wise Men the way.

There are starfish in the ocean,
That wash up on the beach.
Movie and TV stars have body guards
To make sure their privacy isn't breached.

Used to be in grade school,
When you did very well--
Teacher gave you a gold star,
And you rushed home--your parents to tell.

Stars in the night sky
Showed ancient mariners where to sail.
You wish upon a falling star, don't tell
Or your wish will fail.

Astronomers study the stars with huge
Telescopes to show the different constellations,
The best way to see the stars is to lay back peacefully
And look at the Heavens and know they're seen in every nation.
