The world would be
A beautiful place--
With breathtaking views,
No storm or fire could erase.
No wars over religion,
Or invading other countries--
No one starving,
And no disease.
Everyone works together
To save the earth and human race.
No separate entrances for different
Skin colors or religious faiths.
People trust each other,
And have each others respect.
No one slips through cracks in the system,
And left not knowing what to expect.
No abuse or abandonment
Of children, animals, or others--
No mass killings anywhere,
Under God we're sisters and brothers.
The government does
What it is elected to do--
No scandals or spying
On citizens or allies too.
People could sit and talk
With each other, without causing a crisis--
And there would only be good news,
Not politicians vices.
All of the people would live
Happily ever after--
The best gift from God
Is the gift of laughter.
You read this poem scoffing,
And you see the reality.
Now you know why it's a
Dreamworld that will never be.
