Emotions

The range of emotions
A person can feel,
Are not only varied--
But very deep and real.

There is the joy of having
Everything you want at your disposal--
Not money, houses or jewels,
But family and friends, and answering God's call.

The happiness of adding
To your family through weddings and births--
And the sadness of losing someone
As you mourn over a grave covered with dirt.

There is anger and revenge,
When you feel you've been betrayed--
Anger only eats your soul.
And God will handle the judgement some day.

There is hurt when your heart is broken,
And you feel like it will never mend--
Nothing is ever over
Until God says "the end".
