It's not a big building,
Made of glass, mortar and stone--
It's not digital signs:
It is the people-skin and bone.
It doesn't have to be fancy,
It can be outdoors--
Even a small chapel
Where you feel God's hand touching yours.
It's not competing for members--
It's spreading The Word,
Not how you're dressed up,
But God's message being heard.
You don't have cliques
Like you had in high school,
You make Christian friends for life--
Don't drop them--they're jewels.
It's for sinners not saints,
We'd do well to remember that,
God's wonderful message to us--
Christ died for that.
