Don't chase love,
If it's meant to be--
It will come upon you
Unexpectedly.
You can't make someone love you
If that's not how they feel--
You shouldn't have to settle
Or make a "business deal".
Don't try to be
Someone you're not--
That gives a false impression,
And then look what you've got.
Don't chase-- love it will find you,
And if it stands the test of time,
Work hard to keep it fresh--
For you've found a gold mine.
