Despite what some people think,
The world doesn't revolve around them.
For some of them--it's an idea
That is beyond their ken.
No matter where you look
Around the world--
People may be starving,
Or living where bombs are hurled.
Everyone everywhere suffers
Their own joys and pain--
Since the beginning of time with Abel and Cain.
You shouldn't judge others
Or think you're better than they,
We all have personal battles
We fight in our own way.
God made us the same,
But he made us unique too--
And wants us to help others
In whatever we do.
