Frost on the pumpkins, snow in the mountains, the air is crisp and cold. The bright autumn leaves are gone, the trees now bare. Ready or not, the holidays are drawing near. You'll barely get past Thanksgiving when Christmas ads start to appear.
The decorations are beautiful, red, green, gold and silver. Other colors blend in too. And magic dust(also known as glitter). Christmas music old and new, playing in every shopping mall. Masses Christmas shopping or trying to park where there's no space at all.
Christmas parties, dances, gift exchanges, family get togethers. Christmas Eve candle light services, people going door to door carolling for neighbors. Check on the elderly and those all alone, bringing goodies and gifts. Sharing kindness all year long makes everyone's hearts lift.
The most important thing to remember is that the birth of Jesus is the reason for the season. His life has great worth. He was sent to spread God's word, and He gave his life to save us all from sin That Christmas story is TRUE.
