THE MEMO

Practically everyone knows money doesn't grow on trees.

Though the memo doesn't seem to have gotten to the head honchos of pharmaceutical companies.

They do research and testing to make medicines to help our ills--

But before we can use the medicine, we get sick over the bill.

And some of the meds cause side effects that are worse than the disease they help.

It sounds counterproductive to take something for one thing, but the meds give you something else.

They're supposed to be doing this to help mankind, and it must be expensive to make.

But the people they're helping don't have the money to pay for it to take.

Some of the companies have assistance programs to help patients with the cost.

But they have qualifications to meet, and if you don't meet them--you're lost.

Why does greed have to enter into everything?

Can't people simply do things to help humanity?

Silly billionaires challenge each other to stupid things to see who's better.

God won't care about that, just who uses their talents to help make the world better.
