LEGACY

Some people spend their lifetime working to build a legacy and collect heirlooms for future generations so that they know who they are and the roots they came from.  Rich or poor, they pass on a legacy.  God did the same thing with us--His children.  He gave us His only Son to die and save us from our sins, He gave us the Bible that tells us who we are and where we came from   And he gave us this beautiful place called Earth to live and grow on.

Sadly, peole take better care of their family legacies then they do the one God gave us.  We have polluted both the air and water, destroyed animals habitats to the point some are extinct or close to it.  I know about making progress, but does it mean destroying the beautiful legacy God gave us?  Do we really need exta parking lots and big office buildings that destroy nature?  Can't the buildings standing empty be refurbished and brought up to code?  God says we are to show love and kindness to one another.  Instead, there is too much drugs, stealing, and violence leading to death.  We throw trash everywhere, even in lakes and oceans..  We have power hungry leaders of countries starting wars because they want more power or leaders killing people because they look or sound different.  Doesn't anyone understand we are not only wasting God's legacy to us--we are destroying it bit by bit.  YET HE STILL LOVES US.
