We all know it's a fact: nothing lasts foreve. Without regular maintenance checks,
improvements, or repairs, buildings, cars, bridges, and roads and even your health
fall ino disrepair. You have to be consistent, complete, and correct. Without upkeep
something helpful turns to a hazard. Everyone gripes about bad conditions and wants
safety--yet it always ends up not getting done--too costly for the budget, too time consuming,
a hassle for the ciizens to navigate. All valid reasons, but it never gets done, not even started.
Then when something collapses due to age and wear and tear, there's an uproar, Especially if
someone is maimed or killed because of it. Luckily no one was badly hurt or killed when the bridge
in Pennsylvania collapsed the other day. Other times people have not been as fortunate. Then it costs more
money to cover medical bills, settle lawsuits. and cleanup and fix the problem. The same reasons for delay
will always be valid, especially with inflation. It doesn't matter who is in office: Democrat, Republican, or
Independent. It still needs to be taken care of before something else collapses and someone dies again.
Let's make sure we can maintain and repair what we have before looking elsewhere.
