To our loved ones gone before us,
To the men and women lost in military service--
We set aside this day each year.
To honor your memory with pride and tears.
There are flags for all the veterans, as well
As wreaths for them and all the others. The love and loss they tell.
All were part of our country's growth and protection.
Including Front Line workers battling the pandemic infection.
There are problems in our country, that's not new.
But when we work together, there's nothing we can't do.
The one's we honor today would always do their part--
Let us strive to come together, not grow further apart.
