 As you go through your life, what are some

Things that remind you of home?  Maybe

It's a song, or some old pictures.  Could it 

Be a special place you used to go?  Seeing

Old friends, or watching your favorite old movie?

An aroma coming from a kitchen that reminds you

Of family meals that your Mom or Grandma would

Make.  But when anyone else makes it, even using

The very same recipe--it's just not quite as good.

Family pastry recipes passed down through

The generations.  Family treats loved by all, you'd make

For holidays or special occasions.  No one has the time

Or people to help by getting together to bake.

Styles in clothes, appliances, and furniture that

You grew up with are now trending and called retro

Or vintage.  The only thing not redesigned is the wringer wash

Machine.  60's hemlines, remember both the high and low?

There is always something somewhere that stirs up a

Memory.  Some make you down and sad, some homesick

And wistful.  And some just make you feel warm and happy

That you were a part of them.
