The most important thing you can
Give to someone is your time.
It may not seem much to you--
But it can make their heart shine.
Sometimes they just want to
Hear what is your opinion.
Other times--they want a friend
Who will just sit and listen.
Don't ever be fake and spend
Time with someone just to get
Attention. It will come out how
Shallow you are, and lead to regret.
People remember who was there
For them in good times and bad.
How will you feel if when they
Think of you, it makes them sad?
It doesn't matter what color or
Gender you are--if you wear a
Uniform or not. EVERYONE matters.
And no one is above the law.
So make a call, send a card,
Or take time to make a visit.
Let someone know that the world
Is a better place because they're in it.
