Hatred--what does it do for people?
Absolutely NOTHING! All it does is
Eat at people's minds and alienates their
Family and friends. In reality--it KILLS.
The Bible says we are to love one another.
It doesn't say hate those who look different,
Speak differently, or of a different faith.
We ALL matter--citizens and immigrants.
We have the right to express our
Opinions--it's in the Constitution.
But hate speech is not necessary--we
Want to be a free, not hate filled nation.
Maybe that is just being naïve--
But if we work together--not
Against each other, we could make
Great strides without firing a shot.
No one knows if it will work
Unless we try it and see--
It's worth the chance to make
Our nation better for you and me.
