HE ROSE ON THE 3RD DAY

From the time I was a child,
I have been taught that Jesus is
My Lord and Savior--God's only Son
Sent to save us from our sins.

I still believe that to this day.  I also
Believe He was crucified and buried in a
Borrowed tomb.  And just as He promised,
He arose from the grave on the 3rd day.

There was no stunt double--it was really
Christ our Lord.  He appeared to His
Apostles and the saw the wounds in His hands
And feet.  They believed the truth of this.

What I don't understand is that people
Scoff and say it's just a story--none
Of it is true.  Yet there are entire groups who
Speak of the "Walking Dead" like they've seen one.

Not to mention "The Zombie Apocalypse"
Group.  If they can hang on every word
Word and episode of these fake things--
Then why can't they believe God's prophesy?

One is a true story passed on for
Thousands of years.  The other two
Are actors in makeup on TV shoes
Who say and act on cue.

I'll believe in God and Christ
Until the day that I die.
Zombies and walking dead are
Stories created in a writer's mind.
