IF YOU'RE A TEACHER

If you were a teacher, and assigned
Students to write about the greatest
Christmas present they had received--and
One said Jesus--how would you handle this?

Would you go ahead and grade them normally?
Or would you fail them and have a chat
With the student and their parents to have them
Rewrite it, because in school you can't say that?

What if your supervisor read it and
Took you to task?  The child's report is
Right, but would you be in trouble
Because they wrote the truth?  Rules.

We can no longer have prayer in schools.
Bibles aren't allowed there either.  When I
Was in school, we used to get small Gideon
Bibles with the New Testament.  We survived.

We can't talk about God in school--it
May offend someone.  We have mass
Shootings and teachers having sex with
Students.  I'd say we need Him in class.

If you're a teacher and hear someone
Making racist and/or threatening remarks,
You would report it immediately.  But if you hear someone
Curse and say the Lord's name in vain, what's your response?

Why are people so afraid to pray in
Public, or talk about God?  We don't hold
Anyone hostage or threaten them if they don't.
Christ's life is the greatest story ever told.
