WORLD PEACE

Wouldn't it be the most wonderful,
Splendiferous thing if you would
Wake up and every form of news--TV,
Websites, social media announced that
Finally, there was peace around the world?

It's not a lie, or propaganda by another
Country.  Or someone hacked a computer
And decided to play a prank on the world.
It would actually be true:  WORLD PEACE.
The Christmas wish of every human and creature.

There would be celebrations around
The world.  Singing and dancing, feasts
Of all kinds.  The stars of Heaven would
Shine extra bright.  War is over forever.
No short truce, joy in every heartbeat.

No more wars and divisions over different
Religious beliefs or ethnicities.  Just
Everyone realizing even though there are
Differences, we're all basically the same.
Becoming friends, learning to trust.

As the saying goes:  "God's in His
Heaven and all is right with the world".
