I know that everyone is different.
No one is exactly the same.
Kids in grade school know to help people,
But some teenagers make me feel anger and shame.
There are middle and high school kids
Working on projects to help cure disease.
Some are working to make better prosthetics
For disabled vets and other amputees.
Then there are the shallow ones who think
They know it all. They think they're cool
Taking a group picture of the boys at prom
All giving the Nazi salute--they're fools.
Any of them that think the Nazis were
Great and the Holocaust unreal--
Should go to a Holocaust museum, and see
One of the death camps, then how will they feel?
Find a survivor and talk to them.
Listen with your heart and mind.
Not your egos and preconceived ideas.
See if you think it's cool to murder a child.
Some of our kids make us proud.
They want to help mankind, not
Bring shame to their families and country by
Thinking an historical tragedy was a comedy plot.
Where did they get that idea?
Did they learn it at home?
Or did they manufacture that
Stupidity all on their own?
