DO YOU HEAR?

Do you hear the anguished cries of
People in the world's city streets?
Begging for food so that their
Families can eat?

Do you hear the sounds of civil war?
In countries trying to kill one faction
Because the don't like them--killing civilians
Of all ages--no food or shelter, just military action.

Do you hear the cries of pain from those
Sprayed with nerve gas--tiny babies
Who've done nothing wrong and don't understand.
If you felt brave enough to do it-own it.  Don't be a baby.

Do you want to be a leader?  Sometimes you have
To compromise with others, not kill them.
We may not live to see the courts judge you-but
Make no mistake-come Judgement Day, you'll pay then.

The Ultimate Judge--God will have a list of every
Act of inhumanity to others, and
Also of every war crime you committed.  Then
God will deliver judgement by His law-which will stand.
