America lost another child to bullying
The other day. He was bullied in
Person and by internet. No matter how
Hard he tried-he felt he couldn't win.
All children have so much to offer--
But others get their kicks out of tearing
Them down. Why? No one knows.
Parents and friends are left grieving.
We are not to judge one another,
But I wonder if these bullies realize
Their meanness and hateful acts drove
Someone to commit suicide.
There is NO EXCUSE for doing
That to another human being--
No one knows how much depression
And pain that young man was feeling.
We can only hope that we can get
Parents to teach their children that
Everything they do has consequences--
And some of them are very, very bad.
I'm not sure what the law says
About cases like this--
I do know that in this situation,
NOBODY WINS.
