WHAT WOULD YOU DO?

What would you do if it was
Announced there was peace on earth?
Not "fake news" or a hoax--
Would you dance and laugh with mirth?

Would you throw a celebration
To share the joy with all--
Or go somewhere quiet,
And to your knees fall?

While on your knees, thank
God that this miracle was
Brought about.  Or would
You forget Him and all He does?

Man can negotiate and use
Diplomatic speech, but it's
God who has to open hearts and
Minds to bring peace into the mix.

I truly hope it can be accomplished
In my lifetime--
It's doubtful, if it does come,
Thanking God should be first in line.
