Remember the ones who were there
For you when others walked away.
Remember God's angels watching over
You--guiding you through each day.
Remember the encouragement
When you felt you couldn't go on.
Remember the empathy and kindness from
Others--so you know you're not the only one.
Remember good times when there
Was laughter, and hearts were full of joy.
Remember when you were a child--
What was your favorite toy?
Remember accomplishments that
Filled you with a sense of pride--
Remember when you were so
Happy, all you could do was cry.
Remember that God is always there,
So you're never really alone.
You can always talk straight to
Him--no matter the time zone.
Remember the good times--
Hopefully they out number the bad.
Remember two sets and then one set,
Of footprints in the sand.
