Don't call anyone dumb or stupid,
They're smarter than you know.
Don't think anyone timid or weak--
They may be quiet--but anger can grow.
Don't think someone is bored or
Disinterested--they observe
And absorb. Making mental
Notes to hold in reserve.
Never assume you're smarter or better
Than someone because you have a degree.
Degrees don't always come with common sense--
Something that everyone needs.
Don't ridicule the disabled, they've
Survived more than you'll ever know.
Some may have been born disabled--
Some while fighting to keep us safe at home.
Treat others as you would wish to be
Treated and remember that
Respect and trust must be earned.
Keep yourself on the right track.
