INHUMANITY

With all the problems in the
World today--does anyone
Stop to think what the basic problem
Is?  The reason things are done?

The main problem is this:
Man's inhumanity to man.
Someone decides they want something, and
Do whatever it takes without giving a damn.

It's not just in third world countries--
It happens right here too.
Everyone says it's terrible-a disgrace,
How do we solve it, what do we do?

We're asked to support our troops
For what they do defending us.
But when they come home they need
Our help to adapt--too many are homeless.

Our veterans health system needs to be
 Updated and have an expanded view,
So they don't die while waiting to be seen.
The quality should be impeccable--it's their due.

We are ALL created equal--and
ALL lives matter.  If we stand
By this and show care and kindness--
We'd have man's humanity to man.
