2016

People say:  "if I had it to do over,
I would do this, or not do that."
Hindsight is always 20/20--
But it's always after the fact.

Sometimes it's one person, or
Possibly a family or group.
In life there are no do overs--
The year of 2016 is definite proof.

Loss of home due to weather or
Foreclosure, loss of jobs due to
Outsourcing, or closing business.
And war destroys MANY--not just a few.

Innocent people are murdered due to
Rage about things they had no part of.
Still others volunteer to help people,
And show there is still hope and love.

Several people have been lost this year,
Some of them have worldwide fame.
Others private citizens who aren't famous--
But their families all feel the same pain.

No do over for 2016--just get it
Out of here.  Let's bring an end
To all the suffering we can--
And give HOPE as the new year begins.
