It seems lately that people's priorities
Are getting somewhat skewed--
People are murdered right and left, and some are
Upset about the color of cup for their Starbucks brew.
You can't stop living a normal life,
No matter what may come along--
But getting in an uproar about the color
Of a cup, doesn't quite belong.
Our troops are being asked
To repay bonuses given for
Re-enlisting. We have discovered that
Some school teachers are sexual predators.
You may feel that there's nothing
You can do about our county's problems--
But standing together and working hard,
It's a start to ending them.
