Dark and desolate--
Barren and forlorn.
A wasteland, a desert,
A place to mourn.
No glimmer of light,
No signs of hope--
A lot of desperation,
No way to cope.
Bleakness everywhere--
Don't know the way to go.
A lot of effort--
But nothing to show.
No stars, no sun, no moon--
Just complete darkness.
Feeling all alone
And completely helpless.
