Politically Incorrect?

These days people insist
Everyone be politically correct.
But the way some go about it,
Does not earn my respect.

They snub people who don't
Quite fit their ideals--
But insist that they're
Trying to keep things "real".

Those who know me know
That I'm polite and kind.
They also know that I always speak--
(Tactfully if possible), what's on my mind.

I'm proud to say I believe in God,
And proud to be an American.
I'll pray when and where I want to,
And for our National Anthem I'll stand.

We need God and prayer back
In our schools and our lives.
Our government needs Him too.
To end stalemates and taking sides.

So let me wish everyone
A Merry Christmas, not
Happy Holidays, and remind you
It's our Savior's birthday lest you forgot.
