What Are You Thankful For?

What are you thankful
For in your life?
A home, food, job, good health,
A loving, supportive husband/wife?

Are you thankful for the
Freedom to make your own choices?
Or when something goes wrong,
The freedom to join others raising their voices?

Are you thankful for friends
Who like you the way you are?
Whether they live close to you,
Or have moved very far?

Are you thankful for the children
God has blessed you with?
Biological, adopted, or foster--
They need all the love you can give.

Are you thankful for a
Loving God up above?
He sent His only Son to die to
Save you as proof of His love.

Remember to be thankful
All the year through--
Don't give up on life,
God won't give up on you.
