Talking To God

Early in the morning,
Before the hub bub starts--
Is the time to talk to God
Straight from your heart.

Thank Him for His blessings--
Though you may feel they're few.
Thank Him for the blades of grass
Still wet with morning dew.

Thank Him for His love and grace,
And always being by your side.
Pray for the poor souls who
Want freedom and for it died.

Tell Him your worries and your cares,
Then let Him handle them all.
He knows everything, so
Don't hesitate to call.

You can actually talk to Him
Anytime--He's always available,
You won't get a recording--
And He knows every language well.

Just tell Him what's on your heart,
And lean on Him for strength.
