IMAGINATION

Everyone on earth has
An imagination.  Some
Use it for good, and others
Use it to take away people's freedoms.

Without imagination, Alexander
Graham Bell would not have thought
To invent the phone.  With
 No imagination--progress would stop.

No one would have thought people
Could fly in a plane, or invent an
Automobile to drive on highways
And go where ever they can.

No space program--no
Landing on the moon, if not for
President Kennedy's imagination
And NASA's hard work to open that door.

So many accomplishments for
Everyone to share--medicine,
Technology, The Peace Corp.
None would exist without imagination.

Then there are those who use
 It for evil.  They imagine they
Should be in charge of things--
And imprison or kill those who disobey.

They won't let women go to school,
They try to kill a 12 yr. old for
Daring to speak out and want to learn.
What her imagination could do if she opened the door.

Imaginations of greedy people
Can cause harm to family finances.
They dream up Ponzi schemes to get rich,
And leave their clients to take their chances.

These days, even children use their
Imaginations to invent things to help
Others.  Making life easier, or causing medical
Discoveries.  They don't keep it to themselves.

Without hope, and imagination and
Faith in God--this world would be
Bleaker than it already is.  God gave us
The spark of imagination to make things reality.

He gave us the spark to imagine
A better world.  Those who use it for
Evil can explain on Judgement Day
Why they used it to get them more.
