All those times you thought me silly,
Over dramatic or a hypochondriac--
Now that I'm gone and buried,
Do you realize you were off track?
When you thought I was just lazy,
Or wanting to avoid work or not come visit you,
Do you finally realize the reasons I gave
Were actually, totally true?
The health problems I had weren't only
For the elderly. They can hit at
Any time, at any level of strength.
Especially if due to family history--you're prone to that.
I never tried to deceive anyone,
Or lied about my pain. I hope I
Didn't complain too much--if so, I'm sorry.
All the offers of ideas to help, while
Appreciated--did nothing, even those I tried.
So here is my final question
To all--wondering what happened and how.
