The world needs our prayers,
Even more so than before.
Whatever your religion, please
Pray as lives are destroyed by war.
Some countries have famine
Caused by war and/or drought.
Others fight diseases, influx of refugees--
And more are not sure there is a way out.
You look into their eyes--
They are empty, they've lost hope.
They walk for miles to safety, their
Belongings tied on their backs with rope.
Faith and prayer can move mountains.
We can stop the evil trying to take control.
Stop killing and put hope back in people's lives--
United in faith and prayer, that is our role.
