Choices

Everyone has choices in their life.
I don't mean what outfit to wear
Or how to do your makeup
Or style your hair.

God gave us free will
To make our own choices.
You can follow your gut instincts,
Or listen to others yammering voices.

Remember, you're responsible
For the choices you make.
So be careful deciding
Which choices to take.

Some come together
Like pieces of a puzzle.
You live a good life,
With no major troubles.

Some choices made
Can wreck your life
And tear you to shreds.
Leaving behind trouble and strife.

Whatever choice you make,
God's beside you and ready--
To love and guide you
When things are unsteady.

All you have to do
Is speak from your heart--
Ask for His help,
And your healing will start.
