I got the news
Just yesterday.
Another friend, my former boss
Died in her sleep on Saturday.
She was a sweet, kind woman
Who was busy all the time.
She was a great boss--
Her job kept her in overdrive.
She loved her family,
And was there for them.
She adored her grandkids
And spoke of them often.
It's always sad when
You lose a friend--
Especially when you're the same age
And her life has come to an end.
Her daughter and niece
Are also my friends.
To them and the family
I send love, prayers, and condolences.
