Regrets, we all have many
That will haunt us till we die.
Things we should have said or done--
Just the thought makes us cry.
My 80 year old mother
Still regrets to this day
She didn't say goodbye to her father
When going to work before he passed away.
I regret letting Grandma down
She had to go to a nursing home.
She asked me to get her out, and I couldn't--
She looked so scared and alone.
I regret my father did not have
Time for his kids.
When he came home from work,
We stayed quiet and hid.
Some may have quarreled
With someone they held dear,
Christmas is a time of miracles--
See if you can make one happen this year.
