Life isn't meant to be simple.
You have to work hard and earn
What you get. Each hurdle
You pass is a lesson you learn.
Some days will be easy, even carefree.
Others are complicated and crazy--
Running all over handling this and that.
But it builds character, though the view is hazy.
You may learn you can handle
Things you never thought you could .
You're not a superhero--just a
Human doing what they should.
You may get down about things
You wish you had. Don't dwell
On that so much that you neglect
Values you've always held.
The only thing simple is to
Show warmth and kindness
To your fellow man and animals.
And may your life be blessed.
